Fruitfulness

All of us who have ever done much gardening or fruit picking know that sick and weak trees produce small and tasteless fruit. To produce sweet and luscious fruit is not an accident of nature. It takes a gifted farmer, a lot of hard work and a refusal to compromise.

If you want good fruit to be produced from your life, it is going to take exactly the same kind of effort. We can fall into the trap of putting on a holy façade without experiencing real heart transformation.

How can we be fruitful as a Christian? What kind of fruit are we supposed to bear? What do we do to nourish these fruits?
